Seems underwhelming, but Saban has always replaced coordinators with a midas touch.

Really?  Then why is he replacing the current crew? 

I think he has had trouble maintaining a staff for a long time now and these hires suggest it is getting harder, not easier.  The Steele hire in particular reeks of desperation. 

Of course, they have so much talent it doesn't matter as much as it might elsewhere.

I guess we will see.

No kidding...Turd fans are saying Steele is a stopgap and Poot Gump will be their DC in a year or two...Bama is just waiting on the NCAA to rule on UT.

Steele did some good things at Auburn, but neither coordinator hire puts me in extreme fear. Pruitt would be a concern. Presumably he's radioactive, though with a shorter half life than the old days.

I can't help but feel some shadeunfreude that the man who rehabilitated Lane Kiffin and Steve Sarkisian won't touch Pruitt (at least not yet).  Rot in hades gomer!
