Interesting interview. They asked him how a kid from Milwaukee ends up in Knoxville via Wichita. He said that UT was his dream school all along. He watched those ?21 and ?22 teams in high school and knew this was where he wanted to be.

It?s interesting- we see this team?s success as being something very recent. It still doesn?t feel like national destination type program like LSU or UF or Texas. But it has become that very quickly. High school kids saw those teams? swagger and were drawn here. And it?s showing up in the next three recruiting classes, which are on another level from any class Tony has signed up until now. Hope they don?t get wrecked by the draft.

Snead also mentioned that when CTV addressed the team on the field after Sunday?s win, he said ?I?m so fired up that I?m about to go in there and blow up the press conference.?

Yeah, it was a fairly long meeting in right field (they then broke up into position and pitcher groups for a short meeting with Coach E and Crazy ass Frank
The do that after every game

After that was the handshake line

BTW, before all that Tony had shook hands and spoke to every coach and staff member of Evansville
Post that he had an extended convo with the Evansville pitching coach

All men dream: but not equally.
Those who Dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds
Wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the
Dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they
May act their dream with open eyes, to make it Possible.
This I did.
