He must have sold them on his "it takes 7 years to build a program" philosophy. Only four more seasons, and they'll be winning nattys.

I think that Arkansas State is so far down in the pecking order that they were happy just to get to a bowl game.

And, they are glad to have a coach that stays because no higher program tried to lure him away. Which says a lot about Jones.
