..to get a real read on this baseball team, and they didn't disappoint. I don't want to get ahead of myself, but they look better at this point than last year's team did. We didn't play them, but current (probably not for much longer) #1 A&M was also in this tourney. They lost to OSU and Arizona, both of whom we handled with ease.

We just have so much depth that Tony's biggest challenge may be keeping everyone happy with playing time.

That will be his biggest challenge by far.  We have at least three FR that are demanding PT with their play
That doesn't even count Stone "Cold" Lawless who is a RS FR that could end up being our regular catcher at some point.
Though Peebles has demonstrated his arm early

Since Abernathy is really the only baserunning threat on the roster, I think he would best utilized coming off the bench as a PR and/or defensive sub- that way we can pick and choose when to deploy his speed in tight games. For this year, anyway. Obviously he's going to start eventually. As for Clark, Marin, Newstrom, Lawless, etc., good luck keeping all of them happy.🤷‍♂️

Seriously, you could divide this roster up into two teams, and both would make the NCAAT. Hell, they might even make the Supers.
