Unsure if serious? Haven't lived in Tennessee in 37 years (hard to believe its been that long), but the "Haslam boys" were given a great deal of the credit for ruining our football program, FWIW. And the one that owns the Browns has been pretty inept in the NFL also.
So were you serious or not? I think they are both pretty worthless, just riding their Daddy's coat tails.
When I lived in Knoxville, Bill use to teach my Sunday school class so I know him personally. I thought he did an amazing job as Governor.

That's fine, but while he was governor and staffed the Board of Trustees, we hit the lowest point of football and actually most sports. I think he and his brother caught a lot of flack for that.
The father on the other hand, was a long time member of the Athletic Council (or Board?) at UT, and is credited with helping recruit Doug Dickey as AD. Haslam senior was very active behind the scenes in our "glory years".
Anyway, the son that was governor might be an upstanding individual, but right or wrong people have pointed to the "Haslam boys" as ruining the legacy of their father with UT athletics. FWIW.
