When we have a lead nearing the end of the game, we get conservative on offense and defense. Maybe that's the safe strategy but it brings the game closer than it should be. I'm too old for this.  |

Indeed Left 3 points on the board at the end of the half and another four when Matthews forgot to run his go route Plus there was the squandered first half fumble recovery. |

Good thing it was a 2-3 team. Thank gosh we got some turnovers because we probably don't win with the other part of our defense. We are out of position so much...miss tackles and miss assignments. |

we've had a bad defense two of the past three seasons. Is our defensive coaching staff all that? We have had pretty good recruiting that hasn't shown itself on the field on that side of the ball. If our offense is not on it's game, it will be tuff sledding against the SEC teams left on our schedule.
