Defense:
2 and 15 played every snap on defense at safety
I would score 15 maybe around 50 and 2 in the 20's

6 and 23 alternated at STAR with 6 getting the majority of snaps
I'd rate 6 in the 30's and 23 in the 10's (couldn't cover his odor)

Played 3 at corner
8 had a descent game, gave up a couple of longish passes but he was on his guy tight as a snare drum but their QB dropped a dime over the outside shoulder,  Sometimes you have to tip your hat.
4 played OK, he is clearly getting better and more confident.  I do believe he was injured (arm/shoulder was what was being worked on on the sideline.  Resulted on 0 getting to play some, with an unneeded PI when he was in the position

Played 5 LBs that I saw
7 and 13 are the best pair
27 has really good potential
22 should be a B/U IMO
Another FR played on the goal line for a snap or 2

DL played a lot of players but couldn't pressure a balloon if they squeezed it
19 got "close" a coupe of time and I think the only DL to actually get a finger on the QB
The DT were ZERO factor in the pass rush

The good news:
We did play the run reasonably well, much improved from last week
We did lose contain a few times but mostly that was their scheme (jet sweeps, reverses and some interesting blocking schemes

Defensive play:
Our STARS flat sucked, couldn't cover the slot all night
At least 6 was better at run support
23, for the 2nd straight game was lost in space, has regressed

We still can't executed zone for shizzle
We at least were getting in position better (LBs were getting deeper, more timely drops) but we were static
There was one play we had a good deep drop, the ball was thrown right in front of a Deandre, who never fizzleing moved to defend the pass!

Tackling was NOT observed

Defense overall grade a D-

Offense:
We rotated the OL far more than we ever have, I mean a LOT
Heard was out for a few snaps with an ankle injury (in the tent twice) but played reasonably well
Moi had a night pass blocking to forget but blocked the in well
Perry perhaps had his worse night of the season but wasn't terrible
Sanders got his most action, and has potential in spades
Pendleton was limping a lot in the 2nd half and his snaps ...
Sham didn't have a bad night but is a step down

They were doubling down on Brazzell most of the night but that opened up Stailey, did he get to a 100?
BBrazzell made the most of his opportunities, Stsiley had a good night and MAthews miss want to forget last night

Kitz ran a good route on the pick 6, just a shizzleTY throw (late, soft and a good 3-4 yards behind Kitz)

Bishop is the clear RB1, the only RB who got good yards
Star has dropped t the 3 but IMO was our 2nd best RB on the field last night
BTW, I'd say Bishop, at best, was 80% last night

Joey got hurt (neck and shoulder area) on the hit at the 2
He was on the tent at least twice, got treatment all night
Coming out of HT I think Heup came close to pulling the trigger and perhaps should have
Joey hurt us badly in the 2nd half with poor throws
When he had time to load up he could get close to his normal zipn(a throw to Stailey in the 4th is a good example) but otherwise his throws were at peewee level velocity, see the pick 6
I said it in the game thread but some of the drops i attribute the throws being late, inaccurate and too soft (disrupted timing)

The pick 6 totally changed the game, and directly led to the loss
Despite ALL of the above we were in the game till then
We never recovered after it

Now time to eat breakfast and head back to Knoxvegas

All men dream: but not equally.
Those who Dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds
Wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the
Dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they
May act their dream with open eyes, to make it Possible.
This I did.
