All men dream: but not equally.
Those who Dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds
Wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the
Dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they
May act their dream with open eyes, to make it Possible.
This I did.

Graphic designers are ridiculously overpaid as a general rule. There aren't many of them who do quality work, so the ones who do have free reign to charge hideous prices. Often times, what many feel is a simplistic logo is actually a very well thought out logo that serves its purpose well. Simple is almost always better than gaudy when it comes to corporate or government logos.

But that? It's hard to believe that any creative thought at all went into that design. Just atrocious. Throw in the $46k price tag and it's no wonder so many Tennesseans are up in arms.

To borrow a line from Uncle Jed Clampett, "Pit-ee-ful.".

And $46K of taxpayer monies went for that, too.

I'm not real sure I understand this. Does it mean the logo with the three blue stars is the one being replaced?
