To each his own.  For me personally, based on my own experiences, there's not a worse fan base in the SEC.

Not sure we can afford it with out of state, but really happy today!!

Haven't sat down there in a really long time, so I don't have recent emotional attachment to that specific area (or any of the areas that will be changing this off-season).  But, it's jarring to see, nevertheless.

My grandfather originally bought our family seats in section R in the 50s.  I don’t know why, but those pictures just shook me.  My family has sat there for almost 70 years.  Poof, they are gone.  It makes me so sad.

Actually, Alcoa's enrollment is 655, which makes them a solid Class 3A school.

But, yes, if they had any intestinal fortitude they would move up to 4A.

I had no idea they had grown that much.  My class had 92.  I’m now curious where the growth came from as the area lost a LOT of jobs from Alcoa modernizing before it was sold.

I do think they would still be competitive in 4A.  I think they have only lost to Maryville for like the last 5 years or so.  Maybe another team in there I don’t remember.

All I know is... anyone goes against Alcoa better bring their lunch. Man those guys are always in the playoffs.

I think they are playing for their 19th or 20th state title across A/AA/AAA.  I wonder if they will ever try their feet in 4A.  It’s their choice I guess as they are an A sized school.

Hope they get their Pruitt next.
