Da'Rick Rogers Janzen Jackson Brent Vinson Bryce Brown Kenny O'Neal Chris Donald Daniel Brooks
Other than Eric Berry, they have pretty much been either flameouts or headcases. Our luck with these guys have been abysmal. Meanwhile, Alabama gets guys like Trent Richardson, Julio Jones, Nico Johnson, Dre Kirkpatrick.

have you not been keeping up with what's going on with Da'Rick? Definitely a headcase.

10EC, Da'Rick has not worked out with the team in almost 2 weeks and the word is he got into a verbal altercation with McKeefery, the strength coach.

The reason that UT's recent 5 stars haven't come through, while Bama's have, is a reflection of the recent, relative strength of each program. Since Saban has been at Bama, they have been recruiting so well (and winning MNCs) that they can cherry pick the 5 star players that are most likely to be the "total package." So they can take less risky 5-stars.
Whereas UT has been so desperate for 5-star talent, that its has been willing to take any 5-star with a pulse, regardless of that player's baggage (i.e., headcases). It is clear that UT has felt compelled to take some chances on questionable players in order to get enough top-star talent to compete.
UT isn't the only SEC program struggling with that aspect. Same for pretty much all the other SEC schools outside of perhaps LSU.

Julio and Richardson had their share of issues they just skated through due to sabans ability to stone wall IMO.
Don't know about the others but a 5 star lb whose name I forget from Athens al has been a total head case in the NFL.

Rolando mclain is the one I meant. He is from my area and there are tons of rumors. My point is that I think banner has plenty of issues with 5 stars but better damage control

That's cool. Since I moved to Atlanta, I have missed the drive time sports shows. well, to be honest, I have missed the news flashes, not listening to the commentary too much....
