If this team continues to play hard, they should beat UAB, UK, and Vandy. SHOULD. (but watch out for UAB- they're actually pretty good). Which means they'd just have to win one of Mizzou and USCe. Tall order, but not impossible.
I don't think it happens. I think we end up 5-7 again. But at least it no longer appears hopeless.
If we beat USC, I believe that we'll win out and go 7-5. I'm hoping for a win over USC, it's the one game my wife and I will attend, and we're bringing our good friends who are USC fans. Must. Beat. USC.

Butch lost 4 games to Florida by a combined 22 points. Pruitt has lost 2 games to Florida by a combined 54 points. That is hard to understand other than Dobbs and some others made a difference in some of Butch's years.
2019-Lost 34-3 2018-lost 47-21 2017-lost 26-20 2016-won 38-28 2015-lost 28-27 2014-lost 10-9 2013-lost 31-17
Why is it hard to understand? The really good players are gone. You mentioned Dobbs, but how about Kamara, Hurd, J. Smith, Abernathy, Malone, Kelly, Malone, Sutton, Foreman, Sapp, Reaves-Mabin, Barnett, Berry & Vereen? You left a lot out

The chart is interesting, but we've got solid special teams, good skill players, and an o.k. starting 22.
We shouldn't be 1-3, and have been less competitive in Gainesville than Butch was at OU.
love your signature line, it's a very fitting scripture

so what does this really tell us? There, from my most unprofessional view, just 34 of B!tch's players left on the roster. And of those 34, Nigel Warrior and Jarrett Gaurantano are a severe handicap to the team, but I digress.
My view is that Pruitt isn't underachieving, it looks he got dealt a sh!tty hand.

Wife needs a new machine for her craft design. Not sure if any of you or your wives have this "Cricut" contraption but that's my wife's obsession at the moment.
The only time I've ever used a Mac is when I was at UT, they had computer labs for PC and Mac.. and the PC lab was always full so a couple of times I fumbled my way around on a Mac to check my email. But I've always heard Macs are superior for things like image editing... so explain it to me like the noob I am... I'm assuming they have usb ports, yes? Any preference over macbook over the iMac, aside from portability?
My wife uses her cricut almost daily, and it can be an expensive habit, so good luck the cricut software can can be ran on Mac IIRC, but even if not, you can install Bootcamp on a mac, and then install windows 10, which would make it a dual boot setup. You could then install cricut for sure. As for the superior image editing thing, it won't matter when discussing cricut, as neither Mac or a PC would have any influence on 3rd party software

A lot of Vol fans were out on Pruitt since day one, because he wasn't who they wanted... And as soon as we lost to Ga State here came the "TOLD YA"s. It'll be the same way whoever we hire next. Preach the gospel brother Vinnie, PREACH!!

There are also examples out there were schools have reaped benefits of being patient and enduring some painful years with non proven guy and it's worked out. Clemson is the best example. Heck, Kentucky is in a lot better spot than they used to be. I guess the trick is to know when the guy ain't it and to reboot, or when the guy is worth suffering with. I think it became obvious to everyone with Dooley and Butch, when they proved themselves to be clueless and both somewhat lost their respective teams in the end. Idk, maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part but there seems to be much more substance there with Pruitt. If you listen to some of his answers yesterday, he gets it. And he's surrounded himself with big time assistants. So maybe, just maybe it'll be different this time? I feel the same way. He doesn't seem like he's completely lost without a map

There's a portion of the fan base that acts like this every year... it's just earlier than usual this year. you need to look at it from another approach IMO. Some people like to throw darts in the dark and then later boast about hitting the dartboard when the lights come one, and then rag on everyone that didn't toss a blind shot when the lights were off. It's the perfect scenario for some I suppose, you can't be pinned down when things go right, but look like a champ when things go wrong. VTTW used to be a great place when the regulars just loved UT football

Probably gonna take the kids this week since at noon and tix will be cheap.
I'd bought 4 Tix for the USC game just before the GA State game, and my wife and I are bringing two of our close USC fans with us. Fantastic. At least I'll get to the farm in Philadelphia and can bush hog the fields

I don't see how it could be any better.
Vols suck and tiglets are great. How much more miserable could it get for me?
I will probably avoid most of college football this season.
Pass the wine.
Drink your wine, I'll consume Guinness and we'll be good
