yes I can. All the whining and moaning on this board in the last week is based on the 4th quarter, not to to mention preconceived opinions that no on the field performance this year could change in any case.
Five (5) minutes into the fourth quarter we were still in the game, that is a FACT.
I remember when we were a top 10 team and how we use to laugh at fans who came to the board bragging about moral victories. Winning the first 3 quarter while losing the game is meaningless IMHO. It doesn't matter if you lose it in the first 5 minutes, the middle 5 minutes, or the last 5 minutes, we still lost the game.

Agree that we can't really fire Dooley at this time. But I don't believe in him at all and believe more than ever he's in over his head. He will not take us back to relevancy.
We can fire him, and if he doesn't produce this season that is exactly what we should do.

SEC coaches picked Dallas Thomas as SEC 3rd team pre-season. He was also named on the Outland Trophy watch list.
Maybe its just me but I wouldn't normally think a 3rd team pre-season pick would be on an award watch list. IMO we have conflicting expectations here. All that really matters of course is how he plays this year and how it helps the team. Still I wonder which is closer to right?
There are 71 players on the Outland Watch List.

I'll say it again- you Knoxville folks have no idea how lucky you are to have a sports radio station with mostly local programming. Here in Chattanooga, we have two local sports talk shows on two separate stations, and they're staffed by 5 idiots whose combined sports knowledge make Clay Travis look like Jimmy the Greek. Plus, they concentrate mostly on high school sports and NASCAR. When they DO talk CFB, they're as likely to be talking UGA or Bammer as they are UT.
Whenever I'm driving through Knoxville, I always tune in to 99.1. Maybe they don't have the greatest on-air talent in the world, and maybe most of the callers are morons, but at least they're usually discussing something I care about.
I quit listening to the Animal. I listen to Terry Fairs show on my way home from work, it is a little better.

Why all the Hate for Heather?
She is full of herself and a know it all. The whole show is just God awful. She is in her early 20's and she calls Vol athletes "kids". She irritates the hell out of me, thus I quit listening a year or so ago.

Thanks for asking! Moffett Vineyards Screenplay (2009)($24.00) A nice white from California. A blend of Chardonnay (85%), Viognier (12%) and Sauvignon Blanc (3%). Obviously the dominant theme of the wine is a big, oaky Chardonnay. But the Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc add some spice and acidity that give this wine a crisp, clean finish. A good buy for 24 bucks. 12% Viognier, is that French for vinegar??? Sounds like the stuff I drank in college.

a couple years ago my sons dog got stung on the upper lip area. She swoll up huge and all I could think of was the sinister grin that The Jker had from Batman. It was funny but I felt bad for her and gave her benidryle and she was fine.
When I was a teenager, I worked at a service station and one day was sitting outside drinking a Mt Dew waiting for a customer to drive in for gas. I took a swig of the Mt Dew and a Yellow jacket had crawled in it. Sucker stung me on the tongue before I could spit him out. Talk about pain.

It says a lot about how far we've sunk when we return 20 starters and we're not even picked to go to a bowl. It wasn't long ago that if we returned this many, we'd be talking national championship.
That said, I'll be surprised if we don't go bowling. In fact, we should be playing on New Years Day. That's my expectation.
Has the SEC added any bowls since expansion? We could conceivably have a winning record and still not go bowling.

I will get fired up if we still have rednecks in UT administration who would let someone's sexual orientation be a factor in this hiring process. Surely that's not what we are talking about here in 2012. SURELY NOT.
If those people truly exist, UT is ripe for a bunch of discrimination law suits. There is no way that anybody in a position of authority at a college or University would voice those kind of opinions. It would be career suicide.
