I think worley is playing better but I don't know if it will translate to wins. If so, good decision. If not, I disagree. Jury is out so far.
I just think anything we see against MTSU is fool's gold until we show it against Arky and Vandy (ugh).
Agree again. If we wind up beating only KY, burning the red shirt was a big mistake, and imo our chances of beating Ark are slim or none. So it comes down to Vandy I guess

Can't wait to see what video games come out in 2012. Do I detect a note of disagreement?

That's all well and good meister, but the proof will be in the pudding. It doesn't matter what Clifton says or what Hiestnad has done before, his OL has to produce on the field, does it not?
Yep, and if it doesn't, the blame falls squarely on the shoulders of the head coach. BTW, has there ever been a team that turned around after a coach fired some assistants due to pressure from outside?

More from Clifton:
Oh one more thing. Ask yourself this. Why is it that Most OLine coaches in the league stay with the same team for LONG periods of time? Because teaching a Lineman isnt that hard as long as they listen. But its the HC & OC decision to let the position coach know which style that the team is going to run. If your a finesse team, then you more than likely will run a Zone blocking style with a passing game based on Timing. A Hole scheme, and no since in looking it up on wikipedia, is for a smash run team with play action and good TE's. Like I said about INDY, they use a Zone that is made for timing passes, look at their winning % rite now, not too good is it? Now, look at a team, UMM like the Pack, we run the ball and throw it all around. we use a combo of Zone and Hole schemes. Watch when Indy's Olinman run block, they stand up, guess just like who. THE VOLS.
So, just to end my RANT, please Vols, if you dont know what your talking about then dont bash a guy that doesnt deserve it. The man is as hard of a worker that you will ever find. He was one of the BEST olineman coaches that has ever coached football. Coached PRO-BOWLERS. So, if you say that hes garbage like Ive seen on older post, then your not really that intelligent. Just wish that people would stay off harry A**, no wonder hes pissed, hes tired of the blame getting pushed onto the positions coaches by Fans that dont really understand the whole situation that goes on, behind the scenes. So, Please guys cut harry some slack, because your not going to get a better O line coach. Not gonna happen.

Did you read Chad Cliftons posts on Volnation? he said lack of a running game is not Heistands fault. Clifton said Harry is one of the best in the business period, and we would be crazy to run him off. Here is one quote: The Head COACH and OC determines what kind of Scheme that he supposed to be teaching the OLINE. Its not the other way around. Do your research before you blame it on Harry.

a poor game day coach. I was against this hire when it happened, I felt that we should have waited a little longer and perhaps we land a better coach. I don't buy the argument that we had to act fast in order to save the recruiting class, I think that it would have been worth sacrificing a few recruits to get the right guy. Having said that, I have supported Dooley and will continue to do so, because he is our coach, and we really can't afford to continue this game of musical coaches right now. So basically IMHO, we are stuck with him for a couple of more years.

BULLshizzle - they were NOT standing around watching. Out played yes, quitting NO and if you can't tell the difference ... Well, Bobby Scott just agreed with me on the Sports Source Show. He said "A lot of players aren't laying it on the line in the 2nd half."

BULLshizzle on quitting
Two times Richardson just walked into the endzone with multiple UT defenders standing around watching. Maybe they didn't quit, maybe Haileys Comet few by and distracted them.

Same thing every week. Play a good half, then as soon as something bad happens, we fold up the tent.

He made an idiotic post of Facebook saying that after getting crushed by LSU, UT fans were chanting "We want Bama" at the end of the game. I and a host of other people pointed out to the dumbass that it was actually LSU fans that were doing the Bama chant. So he posted this:
Clay Travis: "To the grown men losers who add me as "friends" despite not knowing me and then complain about what I write, I've got 2k friend requests that I can't add because I'm tapped out at 5k. New policy, you say something I don't like that isn't remotely funny or interesting, you're gone."

And Revolver, in spite of what you say the main point is not that I was right that Tahj Boyd could play. It's that I was right to question Kiffin's judgement. The point is that unfortunately I IMMEDIATELY had doubts about Kiffin, and that those doubts were then reenforced by the "Urban Meyer cheated" thing. Believe me I would much rather be sitting here saying Kiffin greatly exceeded my expectations, but we know he did not. I could then go on to list a whole litany of things he did, but this particular thing happened almost right away. And if I seem a bit smug...well some posters were more vociferous in their conviction that Boyd suxes. Let's just say I see some humor in the fact that he is at Kliempson. Boyd turned out to be a good QB. But like ReVOLver said, Kiffin didn't want him because he didn't fit his system. Kiffin wanted a tall drop back passer to fit his pro style offense. IMO, had Boyd came here he would have either transferred by now or playing another position. He had a terrible knee injury so he wouldn't have played as a freshman, he may have played some as a soph, but I think Bray would have moved ahead of him by seasons end.
