Yep.  Quarterback play across the board in the SEC right now is about as bad as I ever remember.  I'm not even sure that Prescott is legit. Spread offenses have ruined QB play.  Gone are the days of a strong armed guy back there who is there to read defenses and get his team in the correct play.  Now it's about putting an "athlete" back there, making sure he can get the team to the line in 16 seconds after the previous play ends, and giving him an opportunity to make one read and then go.

Offensive football has evolved, and I am not so sure it has evolved for the better.       

It's why I call it X-Box football.

I played in the single wing offense.......Dobbs would have been perfect for it.

We have one of the worse passing games since the forward pass was invented. I've watched football since 11am and I'm still watching it......We aren't even close to 98%of the teams I've watched.

JMO...but I don't see it getting any better or much with Dobbs.

And a lineman downfield that would have been called on us.

Grounds crew should be fired....but I'm sure in good UT fashion they will get a raise and extension.

That's exactly what I said after he disappeared.

I don't remember seeing Kamara even touching the ball after he fumbled. No runs or passes to him that I can remember and the running game went south after that. Hurd is the work horse but Kamara gives their offense a spark on the edge.I wish they would give him the ball more. Swing passes,screens,anything thing to take advantage of his speed

^This.....We use Kamara a few plays and get good positive yards and all of a sudden no more Kamara. In the first quarter we had him and Hurd back there together.....got up 14 and poof...gone.

Didn't we have only something like 20 yards rushing the 2nd half?

Run and fire up 3's......Guard heavy team. Will be fun to watch and will be lucky to make the NIT I'm afraid.

What bothers me and it's a pattern with us. When teams adjust to what we are doing we have no answer for it. We held on and it should have never come down to that.

Since our first 2 scores our offense looked like crap.

It's called the Vandy effect.....You can tell your team all you want to that Vandy will play you hard and your team will never believe it. I remember those teams with Peyton Manning and we had 4 times the talent Vandy did but those games ended 14-10, etc..

Well unfortunately, I have a stress fracture in my foot and won't be there Saturday.  In fact, I'm going to miss the rest of the season (possibly excepting the bowl game).

Been there...done that. I feel your pain and it hurts!!!

I was on the 3rd hole on the golf course yesterday and felt a pain in my foot and was afraid I did it again. It was like of was walking on hot glass. Some better today.

When UT is playing I'm NEVER NOT worried.....It has something to do with being a UT fan for almost 61 years.

Before too long there will be a 8 team playoff.

I wish he'd had more time with MM...meaning more than 4 damn games. Since Whisenhunt has been there he had to work with at QB ......Locker Whitehurst Mettenburger NFL is a QB league and a QB league that has to play at a high level....Just look at Luck at the Colts, he's having a bad year and the Colts are paying for it.

Hate to see him fired after a year and a half....not much time IMO. But the 3 and 20 record is really bad and the past 3 games the Titans didn't even resemble a football team.

I thought that the rule changed after year one of the targeting rule.  In year 1, the penalty stood.  I thought that was changed after the first year to allow replay to void both the ejection and the penalty yardage.

I could be wrong about this, though.

Correct!.....At first on review if it was determined there was no targeting the player was allowed to continue to play but the 15 yards still stood.....Which was STUPID!! If it was determined there was NO TARGETING then how could there be a penalty!!! That was one of the dumbest things I'd ever seen.

They wised up and now if it's not targeting then it's no 15 yards marked off.

I said the same thing......I guess Louisville loaned OU their hookers and the team was wore out.

The way I understand it is the block in the back was not reviewed...it was over-ruled by another ref telling the one that threw the flag that it was a legal hit...Much like what happened to us in the Ark game on the punt return for 6.

The review tonight was for the knee was or wasn't down on the final play.

I firmly believe they do all they can in replay to not show up the refs...I believe that.
