Tonight I am pulling for:

Meteor.

Earthquake.

Deadly swarm of locusts.

Not necessarily in that order, however.  Whatever it takes.

Don't forget the freak lightning strike.

Honesh, osshifer, I'm not as think as you drunk I am... hic!"  Either that, or just plain ol' Bammer batshizzle crazy.
78  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: Droner, Herb... on: January 04, 2014, 02:43:34 EST
Barring the meteor/hurricane combo, how about a freak lightning strike?
79  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: There is one Tennessee coach that should be fired..... on: November 11, 2013, 06:40:15 EST
Same here....even the ones with Warren as the deputy. And that's really bad.

I know what you mean. Huh? Yeah. Huh? Yeah. Huh? Yeah.
80  Sports / VTTW Message Board / If Stanford melts down and loses this game... on: November 08, 2013, 05:54:04 EST
Shoot. I was going to be humorous, now it looks entirely possible.
81  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: It's going to be an interesting Heisman vote this year. I don't know or really on: November 08, 2013, 04:16:41 EST
ESPN says the Hypes-man winner will be a never before heard of defensive player from Michigan with one punt return shown on TV (covered by a field-level camera at a bad angle) overhyped by, ironically enough, an overhyped former QB from ocryo state.
82  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: RIP Tom Clancy on: October 02, 2013, 11:10:26 EDT
The Hunt for Red October was the first of Tom Clancy's book I read and I can say that I almost never put it down until I finished it. That's the book that got me hooked on his writing. I admire the fact he went from frustrated insurance salesman to best-selling author. RIP.
83  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: Butch: "Brick by brick wasn't just a fancy slogan" on: September 22, 2013, 11:38:05 EDT
that is a big 10-4, saved me from typing it
Exactly my thoughts yesterday afternoon in the swamp
Big 10-4 here, too. I told Dad, "Well, they didn't fold, that's progress."
Sure, I would've loved the win, but if it takes baby steps now to build a foundation... well, "Brick by brick."
I think I heard Gary Danielson refer to this in a roundabout way.
84  Sports / VTTW Message Board / OK, I'll say it. on: September 13, 2013, 04:21:04 EDT
Somewhere there's a Volkswagen missing seat covers.
(Apologies to Venus Flytrap.)
85  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: What is it about the Lady Vols in the WCWS finals? on: June 04, 2013, 07:36:23 EDT
Not to excuse the blown calls, especially the missed third strike, but why was the outfield drawn in with 2 outs? If the outfielders would have been at normal depth, it's a fly out and not a "triple."

Adds new meaning to the old radio phrase "Dial it in and rip the knob off."
88  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: Beer Aficionados on: February 07, 2013, 05:52:54 EST
It's hard to say no to that. Thanks! I had some Sierra Nevada Torpedo the other day (it's supposed to have Citra hops in it). Ever had any?
89  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: When I came up for the UF game in September... on: January 26, 2013, 03:42:58 EST
They closed the store at the corner of Rossville Blvd. and 37th St. here in Chattanooga last year. It used to be one of the busiest stores in the chain. To be fair, the neighborhood is crumbling, but to see that store close was sad.
90  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: Beer Aficionados on: January 20, 2013, 04:52:18 EST
That would be cool, but at this time I'm afraid I have nothing to offer in return.
91  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: Beer Aficionados on: January 20, 2013, 03:05:15 EST
Did you resanitize and reuse your stopper and airlock when they got blown out or did you just go ahead and use a blow-off tube? Either way, looking forward to hearing the results.

93  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: This is hilarious! on: January 15, 2013, 09:44:42 EST
UK fans are delusional if They think Their new Coach will transform the Mildcats into one of the powers in the SEC!

Agree. Incredulous disbelief and bemusement are hard to convey in print alone. A better response to the Mildcat fan's post probably would have been "Yeah. If fans actually attend a game, the stadium will look completely new."
94  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: This is hilarious! on: January 15, 2013, 06:34:34 EST
The only logical reason that the stadium will look differently to them is that fans are in attendance.

How big is your primary fermenter?
98  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: Question for VTTW posters on: January 14, 2013, 04:09:44 EST
1976 Datsun (yes, Datsun) B210 coupe. Filled the tank for $5 a week in the mid- to late- '80s.

Many thanks.  If I get brave enough I may try that myself.  All the reviews look good.  Please post how yours turns out.

Which clone recipe did you use?  And which supplier did you buy the Citra hops from?  Inquiring mind wants to know.
