I realize that I have like one post, but you have got to take initiative sometime. I have been an avid vol fan since birth. Daily, I am searching vttw and utsports.com for information.

I finally have a chance to move to the place I have wanted to live my entire life. KNOXVILLE! I'm a die hard vols fan. I am currently located in Memphis, Tn

Let me explain:
                    I have been married for almost three weeks. My wife has been accepted to UT to get a Master's in Speech Language Pathology! We have one year for me to find a job because she is set to enroll in school in Fall 2012. I have a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering, and I am a registered Engineer Intern with the State of TN. We both want this and we are praying very hard. I have work for almost 3 years for a really prestigious engineering firm in Memphis. Do any of you have any connections? I am a hard worker, and I have been involved with several TDOT projects. As for now I am searching online very hard. I have driven all the way to Knoxville several weekends to scope things out. Please help with any advice. I want to be able get my wife through school at my favorite university, and check-in every Saturday at the best place in the world to watch a football game. Can you help?

Hurricane Bridge (refurbishing) and Sligo Bridge (replacement). Hurricane is well under way but Sligo hasn't been started yet. Not too close to Knoxville (120 mi.) but a sight closer than you are now. Crab Orchard is the halfway point if interested. I understand the Sligo Bridge project is a two year construction job. Good luck.

For Civil, I would try TVA but I don't know if they are hiring right now.   That's about all I recall of Knoxville, I have been gone a long time.  Next time up there I might ask around.  I have plenty of contacts through my folks.
