We started slow and sloppy, played much better in the second half (which, BTW is a very common pattern this season) but then just kind of died around the 7 minute mark. MTSU seemed to just want it more. First we seemed to relax a little, then we tensed up and could not hit the broad side of a barn. Very disappointing. We had them at the 6-7 minute make and let them off the hook with sloppy play.
At least we won one game, but this one should have been in the bag.
Getting back to the slow 1st half starts, they seem to be a trademark of this team. I hope Cuanzo notices and makes it a point of emphasis in the offseason.
