Any staff member who helped coordinate that should be fired.

IMO, pretty tacky/classless/trashy.  I'd be furious to have been a parent there with my wife and kids.  Yeah, you hear lots of off color things from fans just from the nature of people in the stands.  But to have it organized on the field by the band?  Not funny and very unprofessional.

I saw the video and it looked like the Starship Enterprise shooting a Jayhawk. If I gave a damn about the Jayhawks I might have seen it differently.

That's what is was intended to be, and looked like it to me too.

I'm sure there are some smart folks that are overseeing the band practices there.  It just looks to me like at some point during what I'm sure were many practices, at least one person in a leadership position would've noticed what pretty much everyone else noticed right away and would've said "umm.. that looks pretty similar to... yeah let's not do that".

I guess people can see whatever they want to see.  The band director released the drawing used for practice, and I just don't see what others apparently do.  It's a huge "so what" in my opinion.

True, not that big of a deal either way.

Yeah they can color it up any way they want to with their drawings and I could care less either way but you just have to shake your head and wonder how they could not have seen that in practice and said,"maybe we should do something else"..lol
