I have friends out there and might be able to set up a nice VTTW get-together. Just a thought.

I want to, but it's too early to say for sure. BTW, are we going to have a VTTW 15th anniversary party this summer?

I was actually thinking about having another VTTW lake party in 2013, since I am not sure about the tailgates next fall, so it's possible. I also have my high school reunion coming up next summer, so maybe I could make it a 2fer visit. If there is interest in the spring, I'll talk to UT Mom about it.

Excellent! I'll try to post some pics from our last visit to our friend's place. It's a pretty cool place to visit, but it's about 45 minutes to an hour from Eugene. I'm sure we could also set something up in Eugene, but their place in Deadwood would be a great place for a gathering and cookout.

Me and Dean plan to be there! Going into Ca wine country...probably visit some Oregon relatives. And end with the game before flying home. My big problem is finding a house/pet sitter for those two weeks!

I plan on going out the same time you do and stay with the same family you do. Just make sure the Harrys know my plans And any time you want to party at the lake I'm all for it.

We got a foursome going as of now. Plan on playing the Bandon Dunes courses (if I hit the lottery) then going to the game.

Probably not, though I would never say never. But between going to Arkansas last year and MSU/USCe this year, I am about tired of going on the road to see the Vols get whipped. Don't believe I have seen a winning away game since the 2010 Memphis game.

As I tried to do for the Duck fans coming East, if anyone is going and needs some recommendations on things to do, places to stay, restaurants, etc., I am happy to try and give you the best info I can. My father lives in Eugene, so I have spent a lot of time in Oregon over the years, including four years attending the UofO.
Just let me know.
