1. This morning on the show with Jimmy Hyams, Tim Irwin (who wasn't there, by the way) called it a "hostile" environment in Columbia for Tennessee last night. From the TV broadcast, it looks like the only thing smaller than the crowd was the home crowd support. Your thoughts.
2. Was there any home fan talk about the effects of the goings on of the last couple of weeks at Mizzou? I've read a lot of stuff on the interwebz and from what I see it appears that there are a lot of unhappy Mizzou alums about what is happening to their University.
Thanks.
honestly, we were making more noise than their crowd. The east side (new) upper deck was 3/4 empty. The students were apparently tired from all their special snowflake protests and were a no show. Even the numerous (say just about every TV time out) Pinkle highlites (almost all of which were defensive highlites) brought much reaction.
The alumni in the West stands were there but pulled a KY by the middle of the 3rd and started to melt away. In the re were no worse than 2-1 dogs in fans remaining
I spoke to numerous MO fans/alums who were, without exception, good hosts. Not one single word was spoken of the last two weeks.
