Are teams/schools REALLY expected to “honor” a rival player or coach?

If Saban announces tomorrow that 2022 will be his final season, I will be PISSED if we go the least bit out of our way to do anything for him when he comes to Knoxville. I would want to send him out the same we way we sent out the Bear- by kicking his ass.
