was offered OC position by Nick Saban but stayed at Louisville as OC.  He is not Petrino in terms of mismatch design or being able to adjust on the fly, but in my mind, nobody tops Petrino in those areas.  But he is an outstanding offensive mind.

Cheesy, but this video tells you a little bit about the Jeff Brohm mentality.

I'm onboard with Brohm.  Given a little time, I think he'll be very successful here.  But I think I would be in the minority there.  Would this fan base give him the time he would need?

He was 6-6 at Purdue this season. 5 mil doesn't buy much anymore I guess. But I understand why he would take the job.

CLUELESS!  Ignorant MORON

Care to take a guess at the records for the last two coaches, over the last four (4) years?!?

At least do something like think, I know would be a first for you!

I was attempting to make the troll actually try to find something factual for once
Last 4 years prior to Brohm's FIRST YEAR - 9-39 (for the moronic troll)

I didn't mean I was against Brohm. I meant that Currie has made it hard to hire anyone at any price. 5 mil might be a bargain. They need to get him or whoever on board fast so they can go recruiting.

Did we play against Brohm in '91?  I was at that game.  A Thursday nite game, IIRC.  I kinda remember it being close for a while and then the Vols pulling away eventually.

He has definitely made something good happen in Purdue in his first year.  Some people
will bitch, bitch and bitch some more, no matter what the subject matter is.  Thanks
for the recruiting stat at the bottom..I was on my way to look it up when I noticed
you had TCB.

I'm starting to like it.  I forgot he was coaching WKU - did a helluva job there.  I think this could work out - but yeah - he needs to be given time and please, please, please hire some kick ass coordinators!  and a strength & conditioning coach that actually knows what the HELL they are doing would be nice as well.  Can we keep the punting & kicking coach???

I recall as well.  Watched that with the local Alumni association at Mr. Gatti's Pizza.

you're right, he can definitely be his own OC.  Probably just needs an understudy there.

Penn State has a really good D this year.  How about their DC?

On a more serious note, Va Tech is no. 3 in the country in scoring D...is their DC any good or is that attributed to Fuentes?

(cough cough) Chavis is available.

With the OC who is now the HC?  Or are you confusing your coordinators?  The OC at PSU is now the HC at MSU.

If the DC goes with him, good luck with that.  It sure didn't work for us.
