This group really has played very good basketball all season long (except for a couple of rogue games). They play together, they work their tails off, and the bench players contribute. They have been incredible to watch.

Here's hoping that the real run now begins. I really want them to keep this going deep into March.

Given our preseason expectations, even if we go one and done you can't view it as a disappointment. And after it's all over and we're a couple weeks removed, we'll all come to realize that.

Still...here and now, headed into the postseason, it's going to feel like a letdown if we don't at least make it to the second weekend. We've all seen this team at their best. And when they're playing at that level, they can beat anyone. Anyone.

I'll be really interested to see where they seed us in the dance.  Supposedly project to a 3, but I think if we win the SECT, that will go up to 2.  1 is probably out of reach.

Hope we do well in the SECT.  We should handle either LSU or MSU fairly easily, but the next likely match up is Florida and they will be tough.  Even if Arkansas upsets Florida it won't be an easy game.

I do believe we can handle whatever comes out of the other bracket in the final.

Also, hope we win the 1 in 8 lottery and end up in the Nashville sub-Regional.  If so, I am DEFINITELY going.

Last I looked, Lunardi had us in Nashville as a 3 seed. If that happens, I hope we pack the place.

Amazing season! It proves you don't have to have a team of 5 stars and one and dones to play good basketball. A team with good BB IQ and hard workers that buy in to good/great coaching can win a lot of games....It's been proven over the years with teams from the mid-majors that have good seasons and goes deep in the Dance.

Congrats VOLS

BDV, regardless of what happens in tournament play, this team has had a great season. They far exceeded expectations and gave Vol fans something to cheer about at a time when we really needed it.

As far as seeding goes, I think a 2-seed is still possible if things go certain ways but I think a 3-seed is our likely outcome. Nashville would obviously be nice, but isn't it just nice to know that the team is going dancing and that we don't have to sit through another selection Sunday wondering if we will make the tourney.

Lastly, this team gives fans a realistic hope for next season - something that Tennessee fans haven't had for a while. Expectations will be much higher, but that's the point I'm trying to make: we haven't had a team that we could actually 'expect' to be a championship contender for a while. I'll be looking forward to it.
