...in attending a gathering/BBQ in Deadwood, OR on the Friday before the game (September 13), please let me know.  It's about an hour from Eugene toward the coast.  My good friends there have graciously offered to host, so I guess I should figure out if anyone is interested.  They have a beautiful property adjacent to the river (Deadwood Creek/Siuslaw River), so it would be a great time.  Post here to let me know.

We are meeting Deans cousin for lunch in Salem on Friday..we could possibly make it after that!  Would definitely be interested!

Well, after looking at the map, I think that would be too much driving on Friday.  We are driving from Wa to Salem that morning, then on to Eugene.  Seems Deadwood is 2 hours from Salem.  May be a little much for us old folks!

Sorry TRO, but we are staying in the Portland area and it was just too far (>2.5 hours) back to the hotel.
