Jordan Beck is the second guy from the ?22 team to get the call this season, joining Trey Lipscomb (Ben Joyce was already called up last year). Drew Gilbert is hurt, or he?d probably be there as well (look for him later this summer).

If you don?t follow baseball recruiting, CTV has been a good, if not elite recruiter so far. But that?s about to change. What he has committed for the next three classes is on another level- we?re talking LSU-type recruits. And a lot of these guys will get drafted out of HS and have decisions to make. CTV proving he can get guys ready for the Show should hopefully sway a lot of them to stick with UT.

It?s hilarious that Joyce was the first guy from that team to make the show. IMO, he wasn?t even one of our top 10 pitchers that year. But 105 mph trumps all, I guess.
