Seriously though, we might be ranked at the end of the regular season, and almost certainly will be if we win our bowl.

I would imagine that would be the first postseason rank since 2007.  It's hard to be that excited about being...i don't know, 23 or whatever, but given the long absence it will be pretty exciting, and help set the stage for next year..

Most of the bowl projections I've seen for us are "meh".  But I saw one today that, if we win out, would have us in the Outback vs. Michigan.  Win a game like that, and we'll have some major momentum heading into next season.

Not sure I want to face a Harbaugh team, but they are big 10, so we likely have a more athletic team
