Wasn't awful but it could have been great if had been done a little different IMHO. I think they should have spent more time on the beginning story instead of jumping into the space trip phase so quickly. Needed to have been a 3 hour movie at least.

So, is this an endorsement of the movie or not? My dad wants me to take him to watch it tomorrow afternoon.  Would you watch it again?

Right down my alley! I wonder how much weed these writers smoke to come up with these story lines...overall, I thought it was a good movie.......If you are into scifi  it's worth the watch!
