For those without VQ access bottom line is we are running a yard per carry better than last year at this point (even counting CP's run totals) and our OL got owned after the 1st drive in the 2nd half yesterday.

My view is that the RBs are running better.  They are dancing less and running N/S more.  They are getting some yards after contact but yesterday was the first time we got any significant yards after contact.
The OL is wildly inconsistent.  In the 2nd half yesterday they had difficulties run blocking and pass blocking.

One other point is that the RBs are picking up the blitzes much better this year.  Much better and more consistent.  Yesterday a RB got pushed back into the QB by a strong bull rush but otherwise we did well in that area

Very interesting. Did he normalize stats against power conference teams?

Pirate the RBs are definitely running better. The OL getting owned is very disturbing

That bit of information please the horrid mechanics and decision making of our qbs is why we look poorly coached on offense for the most part. Worley and the wrs are not even speaking the same language it seems. The only one Worley trusted yesterday it seemed was Pig and that led to 2 of his interceptions.

It isn't just the o-line that is not getting it done, it is everyone. That alone makes me think that either our OC is not getting it done, or the guys are not taking coaching which would mean they haven't bought in as it has been presented. Also this team while somewhat better is still a basket case mentally. They will either get better after yesterday or they will nose dive like the past 3 years, because that was the worst performance of the year. Makes me wonder if there is not trouble in the locker room.
