Actually it was the correct call according to the rule. So argue with the rule rather than the call.

Why is it the correct call?  High stepping is celebrating?   That's pretty stupid...I'd like to see w here it says that specifically

What do you want from me? That's what the rule says. If you go into celebration mode before you get into the endzone you're penalized from the point of the celebration. That's the rule. A stupid rule albeit, but the players know it. Patterson could have just ran it into the end-zone.

Yeah. And it were a player from an opposing team who was high-stepping, evetyone would be screamning for a flag.

The rule is the points are taken off if you taunt. Did he celebrate? Yes. It was weak, but there was celebration. Did he taunt? Absolutely not. Terrible call.
