The DL got co sistent pressure in the 2nd half
The DL was vey good against the run, made them one dimensional
They only had two descent runs, one of which was well blocked but the secondary filled their gaps.  The other was just a bad run fit but again the secondary tackled well.

GJ-L was picked on but played well over all, came off his man for the pick
Burrell, not sure he played.

Also, we ditched the field/boundary switching today

T-MAC had 2-3 completions on him, one of which you just tip your cap to a good throw

We had some poor fits by the LBs, particularly by the B/Us, but they were in the game a key points a couple of times so they are getting good reps

For the last two plays we we were in time

Banks called a good game
We blitzed more in the 1st half than we had been.
In the 2nd half we faked blitzes a lot and dropped into coverage
We ran a LOT of DL stunts tonight, and they were effective, especially with Pierce and Barron in the rabbit package

Make no mistake, the defense won the game today and is tremendously improved over last year
We trusted 4 corners on an island a LOT tonight

Agree...very good defense. Defense...punt return and even our punter had a hand in the win.

Tyler Baron has really stepped up this year, and Elijah Herring is playing the run much better. Carter got caught inside on one long completion, but is still progressing.

Hats off to the coaches for rotating so many guys in the front six.

Pearce is a BEAST and was a huge part of the defensive success today
