I was there today.  This team isn't going to hit a ton, but they appear to have solid pitching and play good defense.  I certainly expect them to be a much improved team, and be competitive in the SEC.  It was good to see some excitement about Tennessee baseball at Lindsey Nelson again today.

According to the govolsxtra twit feed, UT is the only Div.1 school to have undefeated baseball and women's softball teams.

It's good while it lasts.

Serrano is going to get it done. I don't know what the ceiling is, but we are about to have a competitive baseball program again.

This is extremely good news. Softball has been the only thing watchable in the spring.

I doubt that the ceiling for this particular team is very high, but as a program, it should be no less than a CWS Championship.  Maybe baseball was once the exclusive domain of warm-weather schools, but no longer.  Oregon State has won a couple titles recently, and several others have advanced very far.  There's no reason we can't do the same.
