Our basketball coach is embroiled in a scandal that has nothing to do with the Vols. Our assistant coaches are dropping like flies. Our best player of the last 15 years has cancer in the prime of his NFL career... This is Tennessee.

I know what you're saying but there's a lot to be excited about. Sometimes I just get rubbed the wrong way with the collective self pity our fan base has. The RTI guys are still going on about the onsides kicks. I'm like, really?

If you're going to criticize me, at least use the correct form of your/you're.

Got it. Good catch. Well, I was going to just simply say "bite me," but then I saw the grammatical error and figured that would be more effective.

Also, technically my mistake would be classified as a spelling error and not a grammatical error.

The comma should be after the quotation mark.

The comma should be after the quotation mark. Not unless we've moved to the UK and I didn't realize it. American writing style always places punctuation inside the quotation.

I thought this was a sports board ... It was, until Vinnie decided to be the voice of reason. Then it turned into a pissing contest.

Is this pissing contest for distance or accuracy?

Well, Vinnie is a long shot in this thread, while Creek is a hunter - you make the call ...

Any insight as to whether this could be a "good" thing that the assistant has resigned, or is it the beginning of the end for Donnie Knoxville?

I probably should've just kept my mouth shut, but lopping EB's news yesterday in with the other junk that's been going on just hit me wrong. When I saw the EB news, not once did I think "how much more can this poor fan base take?" It didn't even register me on the same level as AJ and Tyndall. Plus, I'm weary of people going on about how we got jobbed at the end of the game on Saturday. At this point I'm pretty sure I took Creek's post way wrong anyway, though.
