After the start of SEC play, Tennessee plays three Wednesday games.

Two of the three precede the Kentucky games.

It is what it is. Do I detect another excuse for losses coming on. These kids are 18-22 years old. I don't think one day is going to wear them out one way or another. If they don't like it they should get the Athletic Department to complain to the SEC. I think the fans have a bigger problem with it than the coaches or players do. Good try though.

I read that most of it is because of ESPN....they want the TV ratings on Tuesdays.

That might explain why UK always plays on Tuesday. But it does not explain why literally every UK Saturday opponent plays the Wednesday before, thus giving UK an extra day's rest every single week in SEC play.

Also, it would be one thing if they were both home games, but when one or borh are on the road, then you have to spend  one of your two days of "rest" travelling. Big week in/week out advantage  for the cayuts.

This forum desperately needs a user ignore function.
