Lousy first half cost them the game. They caught Lady Vols disease.

Agreed. They waited too long to turn it on and could never get all the way back in the game. Aidoo plays weak against any opponent of equal or greater strength, I?d imagine Awaka must beat him up in practice a good bit if they go against each other. Gainey is really struggling. I would sit him for an entire game to try and see if that makes a difference. Good to see Knecht play up to his potential.

This is an undersized team that has consistently struggled with elite big men. And once Aidoo fouled out tonight and Awaka was forced to defend their guy for the last 3 minutes with 4 fouls, that was the game. Hopefully they can get Phillips and/or Estrella up to speed before March for these kinds of situations. They may not be as good as our top two posts, but at least they?re 10 more fouls to give.

Not a good week to be a top 5 team.

Reminded me of the UNC first half...if not worse.

Vescovi, JJJ, and Gainey a combined 2-17 FG and 0/10 3pt shooting.

Disappointed by the start but enjoyed the comeback even though it fell short.  Good to see Knecht get going in the second half.  About the worst game I've ever seen Vescovi play.

My overall takeaway....hard to win every road game in the SEC, but hope this is an anomaly and not the norm
