How ironic would it be if in the last year of the current system, the SEC, which has dominated it since 2006, got left out of the playoffs?  It would be the first time since 2005 that an SEC team was not in either the playoffs or the MNC game.

If you want to make the playoff it helps to not be in a conference that sucks. I guess we will see if the SEC bias is real when one of them makes it in with a loss and there are about 4-5 undefeated teams elsewhere. If it ain't the Vols I would just as soon another SEC team doesn't make it.
