a couple of posters on VQ are posting it. Not sure of credibility, but there appears to be a little smoke.

Would Dooley have him back?

I personally don't think its true.. But if it is, why not?

As long as the kid is clean, I'll take anyone at RB.

We don't exactly have a stable chock full of horses.

I would have a hard time believing this to be true. After the big ordeal about Dooley not letting him out of his scholly, he's gonna come back here?

I would personally want to shy away from it, even if he did want to come back. There were too many rumors out there about him receiving benefits to sign with UT.

My guess is this has contributed to the rumor:

"@JaysonSwain: Why is Bryce Brown on UT campus.. I thought he had a game to prepare for this weekend?"

I feel comfortable in saying Dooley won't touch this with a 10ft pole.

I don't want him back.  I feel bad for the kid on some levels but don't want him back on the team.

"@Josh_Ward: I reached Brian Butler, Bryce Brown's advisor, by phone today. Butler declined to comment on Brown's status."

I honestly don't care one way or the other because he'll never contribute even if he plays football IMO.

I don't care if he's as clean as the wind-driven snow.  Even if I knew he'd rush for 2000 yards and 25 TDs and win a Heisman next year, my answer would be no.  I'm SO ready to move on from that era.

agree. Even if he walks on in 2013, guys like Lane, Smith, and others will have been in the program and be ahead of him. This story does provide some drama though!

I don't know. If he wants to come back, I would be for giving him another chance. Kids this age make mistakes. God knows I did. Just glad there weren't message boards that talked about the dumb stuff I did.

I can't believe this would be true.  What are the transfer rules on someone who never was released from a schollie though?
