Ultimately Butch is responsible for all decisions regarding players and coaches so it's on him. My biggest issues have always been with Dobbs' inability to be an effective threat in the passing game and with the play calling. Unfortunately we haven't had a QB ready to go IMO until maybe now, as to the OC position IMO Butch should have replaced DeBord this year...he's not the answer. We're just getting the cupboards refilled and that was a huge factor but we can't improve without an OC who can attack opponents weaknesses and a QB that can effectively pass.....oh and RECRUIT SOME GREAT OL.

Don't forget Smith, for a little guy he has made some unbelievable catches....he doesn't rack up lots of catches usually but when he gets an opportunity he rarely fails.            

I liked getting the TD, but I had expected Shoop and the D to prevent the Dawgs from moving down the field. I saw on ESPN that once Ga scored the last TD we had like a .0023% chance of winning....it truly was a miracle.      

PLEASE can we dominate for 4 quarters this week.....my heart has aged 5 yrs the past 5 weeks. Of course I'll take a W in any shape, form or fashion!  GO VOLS!!!

a time. This game concerns me, we just snapped a streak that all of Voldom has been focused on for 12 yrs, the emotions from that were off the charts. Ga has not looked good but they have lots of talent and a good QB, they have been embarrassed and will likely be playing their best game at home looking to regain some respect and avenge last years loss to us. We have Bama coming up next and it would be very easy to be looking past Ga....we need to come out and dominate from play one through 60 minutes, take the crowd out and take the souls of the Dawgs players like we did the Gators! GO VOLS!!!

get drilled the next 4 games is we don't get better play, not just Ol, but in all aspects. We look worse than last year...penalties in every area, turnovers like crazy (thankfully we' recovered most but we can't do that forever), special teams has been a staple but even here we're seeing turnovers and penalties. We've regressed drastically.

Dobbs being a better passer is impossible and his elusiveness and running ability are much critical to the O. IMO he has to keep the ball more, in both games the DEs tend to crash inside for Hurd providing huge opportunities for Dobbs and if he'll force them to be more respectful of his abilities it will in turn provide more opportunities for big runs for Hurd/Kamara.     One thing is for sure Dobbs gives his all for Tennessee every week.   

didn't impose our will on long drives, we lived off the miscues by VT and had the advantage of a short field very often. We were 3 of 13 I think on 3rd down, this doesn't bode well and reflects, IMO, the inability to execute consistently. how well Corey stayed with the receiver.....typically the DE only has to drop back 5-10 yds, Corey was step for step waaay down field, if not for tangling his feet he may have had an INT.

Not much to form an opinion on in that article....define "help". It sounds like he was asking for someone to pay his bills perhaps I don't know. Does someone get to expect ex-teammates and his school, where he didn't graduate, to bail him out? It's fine for anyone to ask for help, but it's not ok to criticize IMO if you are declined....there's no obligation there IMO it's a decision to be made by those being asked.
