How does this year's recruiting look compared to last year's? Will we be in the top ten?

Just talked to Ray (thanks for the number, Granny) he says she is doing well, but still in ICU. He thinks they finally have a handle on her BP, so she could be leaving the ICU soon. Her stomach is now up around her heart and the surgeons are very pleased with the results. I told Ray to let Debbie know that this was the reason God gave her such big boobs cause He knew she would need that extra space some day.

Well at least you didn't leave anybody crying.

I had an battery AM transistor radio (that's what it was called)  that I used to listen to at night to go to sleep to. I listed to the clear channel AM stations after the local ones went off the air.  I listened to WLAC (R&B music), WWL? [I think this was station] (had a blues and delta blues segments), and WLS (Top 40). I listened to a lot of the music that all 1950s and 1960s Rock and Roll developed from. So when Rock & Roll blossomed in 1960s, I knew where it came from.

Isn't that the station that had the DJ named Wolf with the deep gravely voice? In Louisiana, you could pick it up late at night. Love, love, love blues.

I haven't been here in over a month, I'll tell you whats been going on. I had a retina tear that required lazer surgery. Had to sit up and sleep in a recliner, couldn't read, couldn't bend over and couldn't lift anything. I developed hemmoraging into the jelly like stuff in your eye. They waited 7 days to see if it would stop on it's own, but no such luck. So, they removed the jelly stuff (I forget the name of it) and replaced it with saline solution. That was a week ago, and it's still healing. At least I get to sleep in my bed now, but have to keep my chin down toward the mattress. Have you any idea how BORING this has been????? I always thought I would love being able to sit around doing nothing all day, but that got old right away.

Prayers for you Stogie. Can't wait to see how it worked!

How awful for your family to have to put up with that. Of course the fool didn't know he was doing something disrespectful, he probably doesn't know what the word respect means.

Both NV and Vinnie, have a nice relaxing vacation. Leave all the stress at home and concentrate on being with loved ones and making memories. At some point, stop and say to yourself, "I'll remember this moment forever." and guess what?....20 years from now, you will still be able to recall it. 

It's not only a Granny's job to brag on her grandbabies, it's her OBLIGATION! You have fulfilled your duties, and couldn't be happier for you.
