Honey Badger is no match for a skunk.
Sheesh, what a debacle. Zero points, less than 100 yards of offense.

.......that there is talk of Steele coming to UT. The talking head didn't elaborate. As you know I'm in Greenville, 25 miles from tiglet land and of course the local sports news leans heavy towards the tiglets. I don't know if this guy had sources or he's just repeating what everyone else has been saying.
But that's the scuttlebutt.

Vols can't have Steele. He MUST stay where he is.
The tiglet fans at the course today were laughing at me because they heard UT was considering him. They are a little bit pissed. And humiliated. Which, of course, I don't mind at all. ![](https://volstothewall.com/board/Smileys/default/1laugh.gif)

Thanks for asking! Columbia Crest Two Vines Vineyard 10 White (2009)($8.00) During this month-long holiday season I enjoyed substantial amounts of fine wine. Big reds were in abundance along with some sparklers for New Year's. So I thought for tonight I would "dry out" and drink something light. This white from Washington state is a nice wine. It's a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Sauvignon Blanc. Columbia Crest produces a lot of wine so it should be easy to find. Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast both gave it 88 points. And it's only eight bucks. Happy New Year! And don't worry. I'll be back to myself in no time.

I have picked up several including a few #1s I think. I know i have gotten several top tens. I think from a quick list there should be quite a few available. I think they made a lot of the #1. You can find it on the interwebs but people have gone nuts with the price since it was #1.. Heck Cloudy Bay Sauv Blanc was # 29. I can buy that stuff by the truckload. Only three of the top 100 were over $100 and none over $200.00
I guess I need to print the list and go looking. Not that the list is the definitive word, but I would still like to drink what supposed experts consider to be the best wines in the world.

I gave up my subscription to WS a few years ago but still like to check it out from time to time. I was in a book store yesterday (remember them) and picked up both WS and WE's year end top 100. I was pleasantly suprised to see how few real expensive wines there were. I think WS only had one or two over $100 and not crazy over priced bordeauxs or burgs. ![](https://volstothewall.com/board/Smileys/default/beer.gif) Have you ever been able to actually purchase the wines on that list? Only a couple of times have I been able to find anything in the top 100.

I will be leaving the office at 11:30 today. I believe that the way you start the new year is the way you end it and the way you end it is the way you start it. Why change a good thing?
Thank you. That is all. Carry on.
