A great columnist should always draw a strong reaction from both sides of the issue. And if you find yourself
always agreeing with them or
always disagreeing, they're probably not doing their job very well. No matter where he lands on an issue, Whitlock always gives an extremely well-reasoned argument. Very often (the majority of the time, in fact), I'll vehemently disagree with him. Other times, I'll practically be jumping up and down and fist-pumping in agreement. This is one of those times.
