Our secondary actually played better than I thought real time in the stadium.
Also, I noted earlier that our DBs got a lot more "handsy" after the break.  Probably the staff realized that their receivers were getting away with using a lot of hands so there was little risk.  For a true freshman Abernathy didn't play that badly, sure got beat a couple of times but he covered pretty well, even when the ball was going to the other side.

I had to laugh at Ware blaming Randolph, considering we were playing a variant of the Oregon defense and often times it was Berry on the backend.  That being said it was not one of Randolph's better games.  Maggitt at DE played pretty well, Maggitt at LB not so much.

IMO the bigger problems were safety play and LB play, even R-M.
There was more than one occasion when the 2nd and 3rd levels were not on the same page.
Good news is the issues are correctable.  We started seeing some corrections after the weather siesta.  Also, not many teams routinely split WRs to both sidelines (their line splits were so wide there were a couple of times I wondered if they had more than 11 players on the field.

Key play of the game:  Sutton blowing up the screen at the end of the 1st half.  It not only pinned them back the (unfortunate) side effect was it took Green out of the game.  Green was by far the better back and he also was the one making the formation calls.  His absence hurt BG going forward.

All men dream: but not equally.
Those who Dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds
Wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the
Dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they
May act their dream with open eyes, to make it Possible.
This I did.
