When all the talk in fall camp was about how dominant the DL was, I started to worry.

I never thought there was any depth, and with Hall injued and Jones inexplicably benched, I am not surprised they struggled.  Now, how much they struggled is still surprising.

And yet, I also can't help but point out that for five quarters Dobbs was utilized like a drop back passer, and folks who have actually played OL tell me that pass blocking and run blocking are quite different.

It seems that when we returned to our true identity as a run first team the OL did better even with Hall still out.

I look forward to seeing (a) if we go run first and (b) if as a result the line does better against Ohio at 12 noon EDT Saturday.
