For argument's sake, I'm going to assume that we win out after bammer (because we BETTER).

Beat UGA on Saturday, and we're probably going to Atlanta.  Yes, UF's remaining schedule is pretty soft, and there's not an obvious loss there, but that doesn't look to me like a team capable of running the table.  Between UGA, LSU, ARK, and maybe even Mizzou, I think they get tripped up in one of those games.

Beat aTm, and not only are we going to Atlanta, we're likely doing so with a Playoff birth on the line.  That would largely depend on what happens around the country, of course, but it's highly unlikely that a 1 loss SEC champ would get left out.

Win those two, and we're playing with house money against bammer.  I would never dare say that game is "meaningless", because it's not.  But whatever happens here, we'd likely be getting a rematch in Atlanta (unless aTm beats them), and with JRM and Kirkland likely back, to boot.  And Butch is now even saying that Cam may come back by the end of the season.  Hopefully we'll be a much healthier and better team by December.

So really, these next two games are where we can punch our ticket to the SECC, which is in essence a National Quarterfinal.

Don't get me wrong, but I don't wanna think about that now.

UGA only... one game at a time.

This weekend has me seriously worried.

Hangover from Florida, UGA looked horrid against Ole Miss, Chubb is hurt etc...

It's a classic setup.

Agree...one at a time.  And this next one better be good.

a time. This game concerns me, we just snapped a streak that all of Voldom has been focused on for 12 yrs, the emotions from that were off the charts. Ga has not looked good but they have lots of talent and a good QB, they have been embarrassed and will likely be playing their best game at home looking to regain some respect and avenge last years loss to us. We have Bama coming up next and it would be very easy to be looking past Ga....we need to come out and dominate from play one through 60 minutes, take the crowd out and take the souls of the Dawgs players like we did the Gators! GO VOLS!!!

Beat GA and we're in the driver's seat in our division.  Stumble and we're not.  Let's talk about Tamu and Bama on Monday.

The worst nightmare I could imagine would be the Vols ending up 11-2 with both losses being to the Gumps. Let's not get ahead of ourselves, none of these conference games are easily predictable. Even USCe, UK and Vandy.

It really does not matter what we the fans think, feel, or obsess over. Any game only comes down to the players. Fan expectation, worry, confidence, etc. is great fodder for the internet.

Along those lines, I think the wild card in the SECW division is now LSU with Ogre as head coach. LSU could ruin a lot of SECW team's seasons now.
