Something that struck me was how many Bama fans just stayed in their seats and watched it all.  As we know, they’re mostly a different class of fan base than say, Florida fans.  The rivalry itself is a different class.  They are smug and arrogant, but most I ran into acted like they’ve been there and at the end didn’t say much.

Here were two loudmouths sitting near us, of course THOSE two ducked out before our field goal.  But not before I got in a verbal jab at him before he left.

Yeah. In my experience the bammers who actually attend the games are generally a different breed from their legions of Walmart fans.

On that note, it looked on TV like fewest fans they’ve brought to Knoxville since Saban arrived. I think the days of them bringing 30k and taking over the stadium in the 4th quarter are over.

Yeah and the few I saw mingling around before the game.... scared is too strong a word, but... I sensed some apprehension there.  I think they also knew "this might be the day".

This sentiment was all over their message boards as well. Several were linked on VN, and yeah, they was skeered.

And for good reason
