…and even though it will delay our tip-off, here’s hoping for about 7 more OTs.

This Nowell kid for KSU is the best PG I’ve seen this year. If they (and we) win, we’ll have our hands full with him.

I was thinking about matchup earlier. It is sort of counterintuitive but there have been more than one or two short pg's that are damn good. I guess it is speed & quickness. I hate that we lost our dude.

KSU is a fun team to watch, and easy to root for. If we can’t win it all, I’m adopting them.

BTW Nowell’s stat line tonight: 20 pts, 19 assists, and 5 steals. Damn.

after the game, they showed where he set a record for assists through the first 3 games of the tourney with 42.  Second place was 34.

I only saw the very end of the game, but they showed all his highlight.  I am very impressed.

Nowell is a matchup nightmare. He is so quick, good with the ball, can shoot it, and has great floor vision and the ability to find and hit the open guy. Whoever they play, he’s gonna be a challenge.

Would zone be a possible neutralizer assume UT wins tonight?

Nothing suspicious about a kid from NY ending up at KSU with all the other "basketball" schools out there. Well he is still in Manahatten. Only it's Kansas. He is definitely a fun player to watch. They won't be easy to beat.

ZZ is from New York, would anyone say the same about Tennessee?

But more to the point, in the NIL era, why even raise the question?
