Giving them too many second chance points, and settling for too many bad shots on our end. At least the officiating has been surprisingly even (so far). Frankly, that was my biggest worry coming into this one.

An easy, drama-free second half where we just pull away would be so nice. But we don't do drama-free.

Convince me one of these teams are really one of the top eight. One of them will be after tonight. KSU will be tough to beat.

Who cares? TOP eight would include teams like Purdue and Kansas and Arizona. How are they doing? Everyone gets a fresh start in the postseason. Top eight and final eight are two different things. Survive and advance.

This is the situation that reminds you you might need to recruit more shooters and more than one point guard.

And Barnes is still Barnes. His teams intensity are not consistent from one game to the next. We are used to it though.

I've said all year that the lack of a consistent post scorer was the major problem with this team.  I feel no differently now.  We shot it terribly from 15' and in tonight across the board, we left them open from the arc all night, and we were outrebounded by a much smaller team.

Tonight, I think that they just wanted it more.  Even with the poor shooting if we don't give them so many second chance points we still win the game, I think. Defense is important, but so is boxing out on the boards on your defensive end.  They outworked the Vols and played every bit as physical as we did.

Even with a Sweet Sixteen appearance, this is extremely disappointing.  This FAU team lost games to both Ole Miss and MTSU.  The "bad Vols" showed up tonight and we all know that team loses more than it wins.

Lets Go BaseVols!!!!!!!

They had a favorable bracket fall into place. I don't see a lot of elite 8's anywhere in their future under Barnes. The style of game he wants them to play is a hard sell for me. The game is about shooters today.

Well march your fat ass into Danny White's office. Prop your feet up on his desk and let him know your 10 point plan for Volball, volboy!
Don't cry little snowflake. I know the truth is something you don't want to hear. I'm sorry crappy, inconsistent play is fine with you and you make excuses instead of expecting better. Oh yeah, you were fine with Butch Jones his first few years. Guess who wasn't? This Guy! So don't be discouraged. I watch the same games you do, I just don't make lame excuses for losses.  You' might grow up one year. Cheers.

fizzleface boy I watched the SDSU/FAU game last night wire to wire. Both teams are deep and could beat anybody they play. I still think UConn wins the tournament, but won't be surprised if SDSU wins, and you shouldn't be either And guess what? They will be the Champions. Worthy of an an athletic stud & expert as yourself!!!
