5 year deal
a retroactive $300K bonus
a signing bonus of $250K
His bonus structure goes up about a 1/3


Not that he will leave anytime soon but his payouts start at $4M next year and go down ove rthe course of the contract

Be interesting to see the assistant pool
Tony was pusing that up during the discussions
HE has a great staff and he wants to keep it for as long as he can

Anderson will retire at some point, sooner than we would like
Elander is prime for a head coaching gig, surprised he hasn't taken one yet

He just hire two new, excellent coaches/staff members o that is an indication to me the pool has expanded significantly

3M is insane money for a college baseball coach. But if anyone is worth it, it?s Tony V.

I don?t know if it?s possible for anyone to go on a Bertman era LSU-type run anymore, but we?re positioning ourselves better than anyone else to do so.
