That OU is the best defense we?ll see all year, at least in the regular season. Whispers out of Athens are that their front 7  is down a tick this year. And I think bammer will regress without Saban.

Now OU?s inept offense will probably keep giving up a short field, so that will skew their scoring numbers. But that D was very well coached, and was the best open-field tackling team I?ve seen in some time.

The Ou post game show was saying they are the best D is the country. They are, of course, biased but I'd say top 5 or 10 for sure. Venables does know defense.
