A sooner fan I went to the 2014 game with (and 2015 also, for that matter) told me that they know their song annoys opponents just as much, but at least Rocky Top is "an actual song, with a melody".  FWIW.

The OU band blares just a constant noise when the opponents have the ball, especially on 3rd down. When UT was slowing the game down and they did so they ran out of air and by the time we snapped it was quiet as a library conference room.

I thought so also, and as Cobb pointed out, the sheer volume of noise, from the band but also the recorded stuff, was pretty obnoxious.  Other than the big win, not a very enjoyable experience. 

I'd say OU has the second most annoying number of game day practices and traditions.  (I don't think anyone will ever touch Texas A&M at no. 1  ).

THE most annoying....they hold up their hands on every opponent 3rd down with the thumb and index finger in the shape of an O, with the other three fingers extended for "3rd down">  Nothing beats looking through a waving forest of hands on every single fizzleing 3rd down.
