Helps us all around- knocks off one our biggest competitors for SEC and national hardware while also improving our SOS (and it needed it). And seeing lane lose is always a joy.

It also exposes Ole Piss as an imposter with an easy schedule. I was going to hate watching them back into the SECCG with that weak ass schedule.  Seems a lot less likely now.

It?s almost criminal how easy OM, Mizzou, and Tx have it schedule-wise compared to some others in the league. But honestly, ours is only slightly tougher. Going into the season, most thought that 10-2 would be enough to get us into the playoffs. But that was assuming NCSU, OU, and to a lesser extent UF would be better than this. I think we might need at least 11 wins to feel safely in the field at this point.

You get a false since of thinking how good you are when playing 4 weeks of NAIA teams...That was the worst 4 game schedule to start to the season I've ever seen from a SEC team.
